Shubh Aarambh

One month! One complete month has gone by and I’m in love with this ride called ‘RCNM’ already. The year 2014-15 is surely going to be super-awesome. 

I was ecstatic on being the ‘Editor’ for the year 2014-15. It feels great to ‘create’ something out of nothing. And I'm not being overly religious but today is 'Naag Panchami'. There couldn't have been an aarambh as shubh as today for resurrecting the blog, could there?

 If you ask me why I feel all the more fortunate? Well, I’ve three über-talented departmental executives in my Editorial Team- Rtr Nihar Sahasrabuddhe, Rtr Vaishali Munjyasara and Rtr Aakash Rathi. 

 July is over and we’ve released two bulletins- Cheers to Discoveries and Teach Me Your Tongue! Remember, we're always waiting for a feedback. So read it here and tell us what you think ;)

A word of caution! You won’t find any drab blogpost on this blog at least. We’re sworn to wearing the ‘Oolta Chashma’ so we will, of course, look at things differently. And 'Lights. Camera. RCNM' is not just about blogposts and experiences of people. It's a lot more than that. We've many 'unconventional' and quirky things planned for our readers this year. Watch this place for your dose of online humour and well for a good read! ;D

The Mentalist

The Mentalist is a very interesting show about a man named Patrick Jean, a former psychic who has the ability to "read" peoples minds . He uses these same skills to work with the FBI, and helps them catch criminals. In return he also wants their aid in catching the person who killed his wife and daughter. The peculiar thing about this show is the wa y he use s h is ability to think in absurd ways helps him solve crimes. Putting himself in the shoes of the criminal and predicting the criminal's next move, as well as using a "mind palace" to store all important facts and  evidence of the case, are just a few of the things that he does. Patrick's ability to think in the most absurd fashion and come up with the most crazy reasons as to how a person can be caught or proven guilty is interesting. Nasty Battles #9 - Last benchers Vs first benchers

The classification - There are 2 kinds of students in a class- the outstanding ones and the others who are always standing out of the class. The former being the face of the class and the latter being the backbone. Idiosyncrasies - If a doubt is being asked in the class, the nerds frantically scan the textbooks for the answer while the other ‘chilled out’ kind is like “Just 5 minutes left for the lecture to climax ;)". The first benchers wish to get a degree to get a job (in hope of a ‘bright’ future) while the last benchers consider Facebook as their present and also their future (Who cares if it’s bright or not!?). The former crowd will always be on time, never call in a sick and would LOVE to work overtime (and basically salsa to the teachers’ rhythm).
