Think Too Much, Leave Out Much More

You go to Lifestyle, Shoppers Stop, wherever, look at a t-shirt, shirt, pair of pants/dress which has been amazingly appealing to you [which you had already chosen to buy before but, as you would all know, Indians are not "IMPULSIVE" buyers], then your eyes fall upon another new, attractive piece of cloth, then another one which dominates the previous one, then you have a look at price tag and you go, "never mind" :p even though dad's there to pay the bill. You go to a restaurant, look at the price of tea and reminisce that the last time you had an entire meal for the same cost. You go to a particular website to download your favorite movie, and realize there are too many options to choose from. You think, ponder over, surf more, which one has the best quality, which one is the perfect size and keep thinking, ultimately you have done nothing except that you have lost a lot of time and you are back to square one.

To quote Enrique, "In these crazy world of choices, I know we got a FEW."

We feel we have too many options to choose from. We regurgitate about it. Confusion and chaos. But, from my experiences, we have a "gut feeling" to go with a particular choice. Why don't we go with that? May I say we are afraid to up its consequences? We are always taught to think "twice" before doing anything. I beg to differ. And here comes our regret! "I wish I had..." Why didn't you then?

The idea is to be firm of what you want first, then the consideration of opinions and choices second. Clearing out the mind, and then entertaining the ideas of your own needs and demands in it would be helpful, also, satisfactory. And as far as money is concerned, money is earned to be spent [by the way this statement strongly applies for time-consuming thinkers, and not quite for the impulsive doers (shopaholics, for instance :p)]

So help yourself here! Take more time on things that require to be thought about than the things which are trivial.
