How It All Started

“While some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do. ”- Apple Computer Inc.

The above words describe RCNM. We like to be heard. We like to make a difference. And our aim this year is to involve YOU in everything we do. We are paving inroads that reach every student in NM, every student in Mumbai and everyone who cares to make a difference.

This is how we describe ourselves:

NM – A college that is known for its CA crazy students and for its food haunts. We have some of the nicest teachers and coolest classrooms (literally). Hence, we force ourselves to turn up in college almost every day. (The strict attendance norms help too.) It has 19 clubs and 2 festivals that provide a platform for displaying talent all round the year.

RCNM – A club where wacky teenagers get together. And while trying to change the world into a better place, they become awesome themselves.

RCNMite – Someone who makes friendships for life; does enough to move mountains and while serving his term has every meal in and around college.

And that's just how we do it!

We are involved in service and development of every kind along with the entertainment we provide. Here is a rundown on all our avenues where “work” is meant to happen:

Community service – Be it teaching in orphanages, beach cleaning drives or collecting ‘A handful of grains’, Commserv is here to transform. Yes, we will swear at you if we see you littering, so beware!

Club service – Assembles a bunch of people together and makes them do stuff they would never do otherwise. Have a lifelong wish to get your face painted, want to team up with people you never knew? Club services can do it all.

Professional Development – Basically, PD wants to change you. We have seminars, sessions, games and events. If they don’t make you a better person, you are Satan personified, my child.

Entrepreneurship Development – In a college where everyone wants to know how to make money, ED will teach you how. We work very hard to ensure our students don’t become roadside ruffians.

International service – Have you hoped that Spain and India was the same country so that we could have some hotness here? We hoped too. And though we can’t drain out the seas, IS sure tries to erase borders.

Treasury – No difference can be made if pockets are empty. Treasury makes sure we don’t have to beg, borrow and steal while trying to make the world a better place.
Jab we all met!

Marketing – Sponsor chahiye, marketing hai na! Marketing is the backbone that helps our projects stand.

Public Relations – “Media ko bulao! Media ko bulao!” That is PR’s tagline. They sell us and our ideas to the world at large!

Partners – In service – Ever wish you could do your work while someone else did all the socializing for you? PIS are the social butterflies of ‘rotaractosphere’. After all, contacts are important!

Creatives – Help us ‘look’ better. We understand our red from blues and can make anything look beautiful.

Digital Communications – Are you tech challenged? Then only our dear digicomm can help you. Whether it is designing our bulletins last minute or keeping our facebook fans (yes we have fans!) informed, we do it all!

And the ones that bring you this post; (Drum rolls)

Editorials – We write. We do social issues, we do stories and yes, we do gossip too. :P Words are our apparatus for making a difference.

Now that you know us, we want to know you too. So tell us more, will you? (Comment so that we know you read this!)

BTW,
‘We know we can, we can reach all heights. You know, we are the RCNMites.’ (Loud applause with hooting)

Making Inroads to YOU!
Yours :D,
EDIs.
