You head for the door which leads to the boss. Gently you tilt your head towards your right ...and laugh. Your menacing laugh engulfs the corridors of the citadel dispersing the deathly silence. Rotating the weapon in your hands you walk towards the door, still laughing, still head tilted, a welcome sign of escaping sanity.  "LET'S SEE WHAT YOU GOT! YOU FREAKIN' MAGGOT!" Kicking the door open, you step in.  Lucid brightness - you instinctively shield your eyes, as you wait for them to adjust. And then you see, a stocky figure in a lab coat - the man from the hologram - with the bright light shining from his eyes. Surrounded by all kinds of iridescent gadgets and chemicals, a smirk was discernible on his plain face. You jump at him and strike , only to feel a sharp pain in your chest. You punch his face but it is your cheek that feels punched. Confused as you may be, you bear the pain and keep striking. "I won't kill y...

You lick the blood off your whip. How delicious! The sharp taste of blood brings out the insatiable appetite for destruction and carnage in you...  Instead of only fighting the HEAD you decide to take the other door. The one with all the monsters which you get to turn into roadkill. The more you get to kill, the merrier!  You open the door and enter. It's pitch black.  You move forward and bump into something.  It's a kid.  Maybe about 9 years old. His face is disfigured  Then another one pops up.  Then another... And soon you are surrounded by about 100 of them.  They grab you. You try to fight but you overpowered by their number.  They manhandle you and then strap you to a dentist's chair. Then a strange man pops up.  He wears a phantom-of-the-opera-esque mask.  He takes a scalpel and then procceds to cut open your chest.  A small circle. A few lines here. A few lines there - just like an innocent kid drawing in his book....

As the grotesque Mister Jones leaps at you, y ou use your whip to strike his leg but he blocks it and brandishes a heavy chain that wraps around your fist and immobilizes you. "Nice try lad but I wont go down as easily as krook. Now how about this - You comply with me and I'll make your death painless and quick" You need to think quick and formulate a plan. Suddenly it strikes you. I can be of help to you... The chain will be his undoing. You murmur a reply "OK I shall comply." "Good." Mr. Jones starts approaching slowly... "Just a bit closer," you think to yourself Close enough! You pull the chain and Mr Jones along with it. You pass the whip from your trapped hand to your free hand and take a slice at his face. However he swiftly moves his free hand and stops the attack, sacrificing his arm in the process. He then pulls you closer and tries...

You aim directly for the exposed stomach area... But instead of punching the stomach and hitting his torso...  You find your fist stuck in something squishy? You wonder what could that be? Intestines!  Oh No!! The blood splatters all over your body...and your eyes.  You can't see a thing...  Then you feel something....  Little creatures climbing up your body...  The itsy bitsy undead zombie parasites...  A million of me o ver your arms, legs and your head...  Then you feel a crack in your skull..  Like it's being drilled into...  The parasites suck your brain and you fall to the ground brainless... Yet alive...but barely untill your old friend Jack Jones appears and snaps your neck off. It's a dead end. Aim for Jack Jones' legs this time.

You look at the convincing door but you realize that it will be useless to run... those hounds will catch up in no time. You decide to confront them. So you stand poised, whip in hand, waiting for them to come up. Sweat trickling down your face and your senses are on red alert.They come closer and closer and you see them... The creatures are horrifying. Their teeth are like daggers and their fur coats are marked with dried blood.   You curse yourself for your decision. But suddenly a dominating voice commands them to stop. It's a human voice! You see a man's figure walking steadily towards you, and when you see his face , you nearly fall.  I was waiting for you...  "Journalist Jack Jones! Missing since 5 years!" Your mouth drops open. He has turned zombie like... his skin has weird patches stitched together and his hair have turned slim and slimy. His hands have no fat .. Only tight skin stretched over veins and bones. In one hand...

You have a whip, and you've used it too. But then you sense the ferocity of the upcoming beasts so you decide to run... run for your life! You try frantically to break down the door.  It wasn't 4-5 dogs that were coming up. It was a single, savage cerberus with 3 hungry heads and blood red eyes that leaped into the room. Seeing those intense, bloody eyes, you freeze in your spot. It twitches at every slight move you make. You can feel its hot breath on you. It growls when it sees your whip.  It's teeth are the size of your hands. Your only option is to run. I am hungry. You think you can out run me? With all your force, you break down the door and break into the fastest sprint of your life. You can feel your body going into overdrive. But it easily catches up to you and rips off your arm. Then it headbutts you and you fall on the ground. It towers over you, saliva dripping into your face, and then begins to rip at your limbs and tear you to shreds. You mad...

You bend down to pick up the whip and as you place your hands around it, you spot blood on its sharp talons. And it is revolting.  Nevertheless, you manage to salvage it from the decaying bones. As you straighten your back and are about to search for an exit you are violently pulled by a grotesque, humanoid figure.  You scream in terror but then realise this is no time to be a coward. You slash the whip at the figure and it screams in agony. You close your eyes and keep slashing with the whip until the bloodcurdling cries subside. The deathly stillness returns again. Still panting, you open your eyes to find your outfit drenched in blood and the figure - ripped to shreds - lying in a red pool. The silence is disturbed again by terrifying beastly howls. Something is coming your way, and fast. You try to put a distance between yourself and the creatures. You move backwards cautiously  till you find your back against a do...

You prepare your camera and, with your eye glued to the viewfinder, you zoom in on the skeleton and the whip. Your finger squeezes the shutter! FLASH! The picture is taken. But then you sense movement in front of you. You feel chills going down your spine.  With your eye still glued to the viewfinder, you see that the previously present skeleton wasn't there anymore. Suddenly, you feel a sharp pain in your torso you look down and you can feel blood oozing out. The dead skeleton wasn't dead anymore. It was as if the flash of your camera has resurrected it. And it had impaled you from the back. It slashes off your left arm and then your right leg. It holds what's left of you by the collar and lays you down on the torture table. It then restrains your movement on the table by tying your remaining limbs and picks up a scalpel. It slowly cuts into your stomach and intestines and slowly removes them  . Th...

The ladder looks shaky but it's worth a shot. You've seen too many horror flicks and know better than to mess around with scary babies. You see a faint yellow light at the top of the ladder. Encouraged, you scramble to the top, only to see a gruesome scene. The room is filled with torture equipment and there are mangled skeletons - victims of the torture - lying about the floor.  You almost puke. An old bulb was the source of the yellow light. Beside the bulb, there was a strange box-like structure jutting down from the roof. Among the torture devices, a curious whip with 9 sharp claw-like edges intrigues you. You had read about this - the infamous Cat o' Nine Tails whip.But it's lying entangled with a rotten skeleton and you're not sure if you want to touch it. What should you do? 1) Take some photographs (you're a journalist after all) and search for a way out. 2) Find some guts and take the whip along with you. ...

You open the door. It creaks.  As you slide in,  you see a small cradle. The crying gets louder. You move towards the cradle and reluctantly look into it. Surprise! It's empty! Suddenly you feel a small hand on your legs. You find a baby playing. You pick it up and it turns its head around. All you can see is a brutal, bloody face as if different skins have been sewn together. And are those NUTS?!  The skin where the baby touched you starts to peel off and bit by bit, your entire body starts crumbling. The disfigured baby is nothing but your own self smiling back at you as you stand there without any layer of skin. As you scream in agony, the face just smiles back at you. You bleed to death at an excruciatingly slow pace. It's a dead end. Try again - this time go up the ladder.

You step into the petrifying darkness of the passage. It's cold. Very cold. You shiver as an ominous feeling engulfs you.   'Its probably not the best idea to come in here...' You turn around - but it's too late! The clock slides back with a screeching sound. "What the-" You bang it with both your hands "FREAKIN' OPEN IT!" No response . No way out. You turn around and face the darkness. A deep breath escapes and you slowly walk ahead, groping around in the darkness. "Wait.. my flashlight!" You fish it out of your pocket and hastily fumble for the switch. You mutter a sigh of relief as beam of golden light illuminates your surroundings. However, a second later, the batteries die and the darkness returns. But you've see what you wanted to. You've entered a room with strange jars filled with green fluid and strange apparatus with weird thick wires. On your left is a door and on the right is a ladder leading ...

The door, as you suspected, is locked. With your heart racing, you muster all your strength and slam your body against the door! The rusted hinge cracks! Slowly, you push open the door and heave a sigh of relief as you see the outside world. You step out but... there is no land under your feet! It was an illusion! You're free-falling into a void - a bottomless pit. Everything is black Your body slowly starts tearing at the seams. Your limbs stretch to breaking point. The unseen forces crush your lungs and blood clouds your eyes.  You try to scream but all your remaining life force - your soul itself - escapes through your open mouth. You're now a nobody in a world made of nothing. You're dead. It's a dead end. Go back and check out the secret passage this time.
