The Annabelle Doll
Annabelle was a vintage Raggedy Ann doll purchased in 1970 by a mother for her daughter, Donna's 28th birthday. Donna was a college student at the time, and living with her roommate named Angie, at first neither thought that there was anything special about the doll. But over time they noticed Annabelle seemed to move on her own. At first it was really subtle, just changes in position, the kind of things that could be written off as the doll being jostled. But the movement increased, and within a few weeks, it seemed clear that something was wrong. The girls would leave the apartment with Annabelle on Donna's bed and return home to find it on the couch. Lou(Angie’s fiancĂ©) hated the doll.
